Specifications

BEQ1 British Console Equaliser Algorithm features three bands and low pass/high pass filters which have the following specifications:

* High Pass Filter: 18dB per octave slope with four selectable cutoff frequencies: 45Hz, 70Hz, 160Hz and 360Hz.

* Low Pass Filter: 18dB per octave slope with five selectable cutoff frequencies: 6kHz, 8kHz, 10kHz, 14kHz and 18kHz.

* Low Frequency Shelving: Four selectable center frequencies: 35Hz, 60Hz, 110Hz and 220Hz. The amount of boost or attenuation is continuously variable from -16 dB to 16 dB.

* Mid Frequency Peaking: Selectable 'High Q' or 'Low Q'. Six selectable center frequencies: 360Hz, 700Hz, 1.6kHz, 3.2kHz, 4.8kHz and 7.2kHz. The amount of boost is continuously variable from 0 dB to 18 dB with 'High Q' and from 0 dB to 12 dB with 'Low Q'. And the amount of attenuation is continuously variable from 0 dB to -18 dB with 'High Q' and from 0 dB to -12 dB with 'Low Q'.

* High Frequency Shelving: Three selectable center frequencies: 10kHz, 12kHz and 16kHz. The amount of boost or attenuation is continuously variable from -16 dB to 16 dB.
